Fuel economy was initially promising, averaging over 20 mpg, a respectable figure for a vehicle of this size, before the challenging off-road conditions and the driver's urgency impacted consumption. Once back on paved roads, the Armada effortlessly reverted to its role as a quiet, comfortable highway cruiser.
