Volkswagen Foresees Natural Evolution of EVs, Phasing Out Gasoline Cars
Volkswagen believes electric vehicles (EVs) will naturally replace internal combustion engine (ICE) cars, much like automobiles replaced horses. Instead of imposing bans, the company advocates for highlighting the inherent advantages of EVs to encourage consumer adoption. This perspective comes as EV sales in Europe continue to grow, making up over 20% of new registrations this year.
