Furthermore, the industrial and consumer markets experienced a notable 19% sequential and 22% year-over-year sales increase, primarily fueled by the burgeoning semiconductor industry. These market dynamics, coupled with Carpenter Technology's unique capabilities and growing capacity, position the company for substantial growth in both the near and long term.

Looking ahead, Carpenter Technology anticipates sustained growth, projecting an operating income between $850 million and $880 million for fiscal year 2027, representing a 21% to 25% increase over the record-setting fiscal year 2026. The company also set an ambitious operating income target of $1.2 billion to $1.3 billion for fiscal year 2029, supported by continued market strength and the contribution from its brownfield expansion project, which is on schedule for completion by early fiscal year 2028. With a strong balance sheet, substantial liquidity of $892.4 million, and a disciplined approach to capital allocation, Carpenter Technology is well-positioned to invest in profitable growth opportunities, maintain its dividend, and continue share repurchases, reinforcing its commitment to delivering significant long-term shareholder value.
