In a heartwarming gesture, Katseye member Manon Bannerman extended her appreciation to her dedicated fanbase via Instagram Stories after her group's Coachella 2026 performance. She was notably absent from the stage due to a temporary hiatus, yet her message of gratitude resonated deeply with her supporters. Bannerman posted a photo of herself smiling, accompanied by the caption, '6 milli of u, sending warm hugs and kisses to all of u. Thank you.'

This hiatus, announced by Katseye in February, stems from Bannerman's decision to prioritize her health and well-being. The group's official statement at the time conveyed their unwavering support for her choice. During her absence, Katseye has maintained a busy schedule, performing at various Lollapalooza festivals in Argentina, Chile, and Brazil, as well as Estéreo Picnic in Bogota. They also debuted their first single and music video without Bannerman, 'Pinky Up,' and discussed her absence on The Zane Lowe Show on Apple Music, where bandmate Sophia Laforteza affirmed, 'Manon has been on hiatus, and we love her so much, and we know that she's doing well. We've gone through so much with each other and so, at the end of the day, we just all want each other to win. And to be good. And to feel good, and to be happy, and just, you know, just keep showing up for what we want.'

During their Coachella set, the group surprised audiences by collaborating with Huntr/x, a fictional girl group from the animated movie KPop Demon Hunters. The combined talents of Katseye and Huntr/x delivered an electrifying rendition of the Oscar-winning song 'Golden.' Looking ahead, Katseye is slated to return for the second weekend of Coachella on April 17, followed by performances at Governor's Ball in New York City in June, and later in the year at the Hinterland Music Festival in Saint Charles, Iowa, and the 88rising Festival: Head in the Clouds in Pasadena, California.

The unwavering support among the members of Katseye, especially during Manon's temporary leave, exemplifies the strength and resilience within the group. Their collective dedication to each other's well-being and their commitment to their fans serve as an inspiring example of camaraderie and mutual respect in the competitive world of music. This unity not only strengthens their bond but also empowers them to continue delivering exceptional performances and creating impactful music.
