Pocketpair, the developer behind the immensely popular creature-collecting game Palworld, has officially announced an upcoming mobile-exclusive spin-off titled 'Palworld Online.' This massively multiplayer online role-playing game is slated for release in 2026, targeting both iOS and Android platforms, promising to bring the beloved game's essence to a portable format.

As detailed in the official press release, Palworld Online is designed to replicate the extensive depth, boundless freedom, and grand scale of the original Palworld experience, all meticulously adapted for mobile devices. The game will emphasize online multiplayer interactions, allowing players to connect, collaborate, compete, and engage in shared base construction within a unified virtual world. Furthermore, it will introduce its own distinct narrative setting and an original story, immersing players in an expansive, seamlessly connected open world where they can embark on adventures with friends and interact with the enigmatic creatures known as Pals at any time, from anywhere.

Terry Zhao, President of Garena—the publisher behind both Palworld and the forthcoming Palworld Online—articulated the vision for this new mobile venture. He emphasized the goal of delivering a novel mobile experience that fosters player connectivity and cooperative adventuring. Zhao highlighted the close collaboration with Pocketpair to optimize the game for mobile devices, ensuring that the inherent depth, immersive qualities, and freedom characteristic of Palworld are preserved without compromise.

This initiative represents a significant step in expanding the Palworld universe, making its unique blend of creature collection, exploration, and base building accessible to a broader audience on mobile platforms. The developers are focused on maintaining the core appeal of the franchise while tailoring the experience for touch-based controls and on-the-go gameplay.

This mobile adaptation signals a positive trend in gaming, demonstrating how developers are striving to extend engaging experiences across different platforms while preserving the core elements that fans love. The commitment to delivering an authentic Palworld experience on mobile, coupled with the emphasis on social interaction and a unique narrative, positions 'Palworld Online' as a promising addition to the mobile gaming landscape, fostering community and cooperative play among a global audience.
