Loop LP-3201: A Gaming Monitor with an Integrated Graphics Card Slot

At this year's Computex, an exhibit caught the attention of many, revealing an all-in-one PC that surprisingly accommodates a discrete graphics card. This innovation addresses a common misconception where individuals might mistake a high-end monitor for a complete computer system, only to be disappointed by its limited functionality.
The LP-3201, presented by Loop, is a 32-inch WQHD display with a distinct feature: a rear compartment capable of housing graphics cards up to 330mm in length. While it supports larger GPUs, it is particularly well-suited for Nvidia's small form factor (SFF) standard, designed for compact PC builds. This design offers a significant advantage over conventional all-in-one systems, which typically integrate laptop-grade components to manage space and heat, thereby limiting upgrade options to mostly RAM or storage.
Unlike its more restrictive counterparts, the LP-3201 is engineered for extensive upgradeability, resembling a standard desktop PC cleverly integrated into a monitor's chassis. The demonstrated model at Computex showcased an Asus Prime GeForce RTX 5070 OC Edition, although larger cards like the Asus ROG Astral 50-series are too expansive. Inside, the unit features a Micro ATX motherboard, an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K processor, a liquid cooling system, and an 800W power supply, all cooled by prominent air vents. The display boasts a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution and a 180Hz refresh rate, available in an eye-catching bright green—customizable with wooden panels—or a more traditional black finish. Although currently marketed as a barebones system in China, Loop intends to expand into the Japanese market, with potential for global availability, building on its existing LP 3200 AIO curved monitor that includes a pre-installed GPU.
